This notice explains how KGT S.r.l. processes the personal data of people who visit this website and of people who contact the company through it, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.
1. Data controller
KGT S.r.l., registered office at Viale Vittorio Veneto, 32, 20124 Milano (MI), Italy – Tax code and VAT no. 07443770966.
Email: kgtsrl@gmail.com
The company has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as it is not required to do so.
2. Data we process
a) Browsing data
The systems that run the website automatically collect some technical data whose transmission is inherent in the use of the Internet: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, server response code, browser type and operating system, referring page. This data is recorded in the technical logs of the hosting provider’s server and is not used to identify or profile users.
b) Data you provide
If you fill in the form on the Contact page, we process the data you enter: name, email address, subject and message. The same applies to the data contained in emails you send directly to our addresses.
The website does not require registration, has no reserved area, does not sell products online and does not send newsletters.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to requests for information or contact sent through the form or by email. Legal basis: steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or, for general requests, the controller’s legitimate interest in replying to people who contact it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Operation and security of the website, for example preventing abuse and automated spam. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations and protection of the controller’s rights in the event of disputes. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) and 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data is not used for marketing, is not profiled and is not subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.
4. Providing your data
Providing the data requested by the form (name and email) is optional, but without it we cannot reply to your request.
5. How data is processed and how long it is kept
The contact form does not store data on the website: your message is sent by email to the controller’s company mailbox. Data is processed electronically by authorised staff with appropriate security measures (encrypted HTTPS connection, protection against automated spam).
Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and, if no contractual relationship follows, for no longer than 24 months from the last contact. If the request leads to a contract, data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by law (generally 10 years for accounting and tax records). Server technical logs are kept by the hosting provider for the period strictly necessary for the security of the service.
6. Recipients
Data may be processed on behalf of the controller, as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR), by:
- the website hosting provider;
- the email service provider that receives the messages;
- consultants and technical providers in charge of website maintenance.
Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law. Data is not made public.
7. Transfers outside the EU
If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area (for example an email service with servers in the United States), the transfer only takes place on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or other safeguards under Articles 46 et seq. GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
You may exercise at any time the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR:
- access to your data and a copy of it;
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure;
- restriction of processing;
- data portability;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise them, write to kgtsrl@gmail.com. We will reply within one month of your request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) under Art. 77 GDPR.
9. Customers and suppliers
The processing of customers’ and suppliers’ data within contractual relationships is described in a specific notice, available on request at kgtsrl@gmail.com.
10. Cookies
